A Little About Me & My Scentsy Story
I have been married for 15 years & have five children ages 11, 9, 7, 3, & a baby. I am an on-call home health & hospice nurse & live in Utah.
I joined Scentsy in February of 2008. My sister-in-law had joined the previous October & could not stop talking about it. After showing me Scentsy, I couldn’t stop thinking about it either. I had never done direct sales, because I didn’t like the idea. But, I really liked the Scentsy idea so I thought I would give it a try. I started out very slowly doing some parties here & there, even booking some booths at local outdoor festivals. I found it to be more of a hobby than anything.
Then, I saw how my fellow Scentsy Sisters were excelling & turning Scentsy into a business. Their incomes were growing & they were becoming successful. I wanted to be successful too, but was struggling. I didn’t think I could have increased sales, I didn’t think I could build a team, & I didn’t. I didn’t have any set goals. I realized that my negative thinking was hurting my potential. My husband wouldn’t let me quit. He saw how excited I would get when I would get a Scentsy Order or when Scentsy would come out with new products. I realized I needed to change my thinking & believe in myself. My husband believed in me, now it was my turn.
I now have increased sales & book more shows. I have also learned some html code to help me with my website. Scentsy has helped me believe in me & do things that I didn’t believe possible. Change your thoughts & you will change your actions! I invite you to do the same in your life. By turning those little negative thoughts into positive thoughts you can reach your goals.
